Most likely causes
- The player you want is not published in the Samsung store for your country, so it cannot be found or installed.
- The TV is on an older Tizen version that a newer app build no longer supports.
- The app is MAC-registered (Smart IPTV, IBO Player, Hot Player and similar) and the device has not been activated on the developer portal.
- The playlist or Xtream URL is wrong, expired or missing, so the app opens but shows nothing to play.
- The network is weak or has dropped, or the channel is 4K on a set that cannot decode that feed.
Fixes, in the order to try them
Confirm the app exists for your region. Open the Samsung Apps store and search for the player by name. If it does not appear, your country store may not carry it; either pick a player that is listed, such as the one covered in our Samsung setup guide, or use a web-based loader if the app offers one.
Update Tizen. Go to Settings then Support then Software Update and choose Update Now. An out-of-date Tizen build is a frequent reason a recently updated player refuses to open or crashes on launch.
Activate the device if the app is MAC-based. Apps like Smart IPTV, IBO Player and Hot Player show a MAC address and expect you to register it on the matching developer website and load your playlist there. Until that is done the app opens but stays empty. Complete activation, then reopen the app.
Re-check the playlist details. Compare the M3U or Xtream URL, and the username and password if used, against what Nixaiptv sent you. A small typo or an expired link leaves the app working but with no channels.
Restart cleanly. Power the TV off at the wall for thirty seconds, restart the router, and reopen the app. This clears many temporary faults after an update or a network blip.
Test the connection and quality. Try the HD version of a channel rather than 4K; if HD plays and 4K does not, the set is hitting a decode limit. Move to 5 GHz Wi-Fi or a wired connection if playback is unstable.
If a specific app keeps failing after all of this, reinstall it from the Samsung store, or switch to the player recommended in our Samsung Smart TV setup guide, which we test on Tizen.

IPTV player not working on Tizen FAQ
Why can I not find the IPTV app in my Samsung store?
App availability on Tizen varies by country. If a player is not listed in your region store you cannot install it there. Choose a player that is available in your store, or one that offers a web loader, and follow our Samsung setup guide.
Do Samsung IPTV apps need activation?
Some do. MAC-registered players such as Smart IPTV, IBO Player and Hot Player show a device MAC and require you to register it and load your playlist on the developer website before channels appear. Non-registered players just take the playlist URL directly.
My TV is a few years old. Could that be the problem?
It can be. Older Tizen versions may not run the latest app builds. Update the TV under Settings, Support, Software Update. If an app still will not run, a player with an older compatible build or a web loader is the practical route.
How do I know if it is the app or my subscription?
Try the same login in a second player or on another device. If it works there, the first app or the TV is the issue. If nothing plays anywhere after the URL and activation are correct, contact the desk to confirm your line.
