How to Set Up IPTV on MAG and Formuler Boxes

Infomir's MAG units and the Formuler boxes were engineered for this one task and nothing beside it, which is why they come across as steadier than any repurposed streaming stick, an honest stand-in for the rented set-top box. An ordinary app login is not how either works. A MAG runs off a portal address tied to the box MAC, whereas Formuler works by way of MyTVOnline. Pass us the MAC and the portal comes alive at our end.

Before you begin

  • MAG 3xx/4xx/5xx or Formuler Z8, Z10, Z11
  • The MAC address printed under the box
  • Nixaiptv portal URL (sent after you share the MAC)

Setting it up, step by step

  1. Track down the MAC address

    You will find it on the label on the box's underside, and again beneath Settings, About device. A MAG's opens 00:1A:79. Fire it over to us on WhatsApp and sit tight for confirmation before you take another step.

    Get your login details

  2. MAG: key in the portal URL

    Settings, System settings, Servers, Portals. Hand Portal 1 any name at all, drop in the portal address we sent, save it, and reboot the box. Until that reboot happens, nothing runs.

  3. Formuler: go by MyTVOnline

    Fire up MyTVOnline 2 or 3, pick Add Portal, and hand over a name plus the portal address. Or, if you prefer, take Xtream Codes and the standard login. Formuler will happily run Android players like TiViMate too, should that suit you better.

  4. Watch

    Post-reboot, the box draws in the 25,000+ channels under its built-in guide. Lean on the remote colour buttons for the EPG and favourites.

If it does not work first time

A blank screen, or "STB blocked" on the portal

Either the MAC is not yet live at our end, or a character went astray as it was sent. Snap the label and send that photo instead of keying it in afresh; in nearly every instance that puts it right inside minutes.

On a main set in daily service, it does: a superior remote, a faster guide, and never a thing to sideload. The trade is price: reckon on $30 to $50 for a stick, set against $120 to $180 for the box. In a bedroom the stick is the sharper buy and the difference goes unnoticed.
