Setting it up, step by step
Bring up the Samsung App Store
Tap Home and go into Apps. The search icon is tucked into that screen's top corner.
Fit IPTV Smarters or Smart IPTV
There is no charge for IPTV Smarters. Smart IPTV wants a small one-off fee for each set but runs lighter, which shows on older televisions. Put on whichever fits and open it.
Wire in your Nixaiptv playlist
Under Smarters, go for Login with Xtream Codes and key the three values. Smart IPTV takes a different tack: read off the MAC address it puts up, then on a phone or laptop head to siptv.app/mylist and send your M3U link across to that MAC.
Reopen the app
Shut it right down and start it again. In come the channel line-up and guide. Once you are through, the fastest way across the groups is the channel list button on the remote.
If it does not work first time
My country's store has no such app
The catalogue Samsung shows differs from region to region. Either flip the region over in Settings, or fall back on IPTV Smarters, which nearly every market carries. Should neither do it, support can point you to a working stand-in.
Smart IPTV reads "playlist expired"
What that notice concerns is the app, not the subscription you hold. A reinstall, or a factory reset of the television, clears the list it stored, so send the M3U up once more via siptv.app/mylist against that same MAC address.

Is a Firestick needed for IPTV on a Samsung TV?
No. From 2016 on, a Samsung set runs Smart IPTV or IPTV Smarters right out of its built-in store, which makes the television the sole piece of gear. Adding a stick earns its keep only on older sets, or where TiViMate specifically is the aim, since Samsung does not stock it.
Does Smart IPTV cost anything on Samsung?
You get seven free days, after which it wants a small one-time activation tied to that set. IPTV Smarters carries nothing of the sort. In either case the app is a shell only, and a subscription still has to sit behind it before a thing shows.
