Nixaiptv – IPTV in 4K to Replace Cable, Streaming Apps and Sports Passes

Smart IPTV (SIPTV) Setup: Upload Your Playlist by MAC Address

Smart IPTV, which crops up as SIPTV too, is a knowingly bare-bones player for LG and Samsung televisions, and it pulls one move that reads as broken the first time round: no login screen at all. What you do in its place is post your playlist against that set's MAC address over on the developer's site. Peculiar, granted, but that is what keeps it nimble on TV hardware that grinds under anything weightier.

Before you begin

  • Samsung or LG smart TV with the Smart IPTV app
  • The MAC address shown in the app
  • Nixaiptv M3U link

Setting it up, step by step

  1. Fit Smart IPTV to the set

On the Samsung store, or the LG one, search "Smart IPTV" and add it. Open it the once and note down the MAC address on show, since the following step leans on it and you will have moved to another device by then.

    Get your login details

  2. Send the playlist up

From a laptop or phone, visit siptv.app/mylist. Key that MAC address in exactly, drop your M3U link into the URL box, tick "Keep online" and press Send.

  3. Reopen the app

Quit Smart IPTV on the set and launch it once more. Down come the channels and the EPG off the playlist.

  4. Activate once the trial runs out

Seven days are yours, after which it wants a small one-time activation for that particular set over at siptv.app/activation. That fee lands with the app developer and bears no relation to the subscription you hold here; it is none of our doing.

If it does not work first time

The upload succeeds, yet the TV is blank

Give it a minute and restart before writing it off. Then confirm the MAC went in exactly, colons and all, because one stray character routes the list to a set that is not there. It also keeps just a single playlist at once.

More players that take the same login

Smart IPTV (SIPTV) IPTV FAQ

How do Smart IPTV and SSIPTV differ?

They are distinct apps from different developers cracking the same nut in almost the same manner, and the near-matching names breed no end of muddle. The MAC upload described above is Smart IPTV's way; SSIPTV can accept a link straight on the set. Since both work here, go with whatever your TV store actually stocks.
