Setting it up, step by step
Put TiViMate on
Google TV and Android TV both stock it in the Play Store. A Firestick calls for a Downloader sideload. There is no build whatsoever for Apple, Samsung or LG, so lean on IPTV Smarters on that gear instead.
Bring in a playlist
Open it up, pick Add playlist, then Xtream Codes login. Key the server address plus the username and password from your message and hit Next. An M3U link is neither asked for nor needed.
Name it and let it load
Hand it a name you will recognise should you ever bring in a second, then leave the channels and guide to download. It will ask which categories to pull in; since that is changeable down the line, there is no call to agonise now.
Configure the guide
Beneath Settings, TV guide, put the refresh interval on every 12 hours. Because the Xtream login brings the guide source along, there is, unlike with some players, no separate EPG URL to paste anywhere.
Optional: switch on Premium
You buy Premium over in the standalone TiViMate Companion app on a phone, not from within TiViMate on the set, and that trips up close to everybody. It runs roughly $9.99 yearly, or else a lifetime one-off priced in the mid-thirties, comes with a seven-day trial, and opens up recording, multi-view and multiple playlists.
If it does not work first time
TiViMate reports "playlist could not be loaded"
Confirm the server address is carrying its port and that the plan has not lapsed. After that, type the password out by hand rather than pasting, since text lifted from a chat so often smuggles an unseen space along.
The guide reads "no information"
Force a refresh through Settings, then TV guide, then Update now, and give the app a restart afterwards. A cold load over a large channel list may also just want more patience than people tend to allow.
