Setting it up, step by step
Open up the LG Content Store
Hit Home, bring up the LG Content Store, cross to Apps, and put the search field to work.
Fit a player
Look up iPlayTV, GSE Smart IPTV or IPTV Smarters Player. There is no charge for Smarters; the pair alongside it ask a one-off price and hand you better interfaces. Whatever is spelt TiviMato or Tivimax is not TiViMate and is not worth paying for.
Put in your Nixaiptv details
Smarters expects Login with Xtream Codes API and then your username, password and server address in turn. As for Smart IPTV, it goes the other way, wanting the M3U link posted to the MAC address on screen, through siptv.app/mylist over on a second device.
Watch
The moment it reboots, the box brings down the entire line-up under its own built-in guide. Favourites and the EPG hang off the remote's coloured buttons, and that is the piece that makes these sets a pleasure to live alongside.
If it does not work first time
A black screen plays, but with sound
The trouble is a decoder mismatch, not a channel gone dark. Nudge the player over to native or hardware decoding within its settings, or pick the channel's lower-bitrate copy, which most sports feeds carry.
