Setting it up, step by step
Put the app on your device
Phones and Android TV take it off Google Play. On a Firestick it wants a Downloader sideload, laid out step by step over in the Firestick guide. As "IPTV Smarters", it lives in the Samsung and LG stores. Apple users should search "IPTV Smarters Player". The Windows and Mac installers ship from the developer site.
Take Login with Xtream Codes API
Agree to the terms on that first screen and settle on the Xtream Codes route. Give the M3U path a miss unless support has steered you there, because Xtream drags in the guide and on-demand library unaided where M3U routinely will not.
Put in your Nixaiptv details
Any name will do, then the username, password and server URL, http:// and port and all, exactly as WhatsApp delivered them. Tap Add User.
Give the EPG time
What downloads now is the channels, the on-demand titles and the programme guide. Filling the guide properly can run a few minutes, so hold off judging it on the opening half-minute. Below Settings, EPG, flick on "Enable EPG on live TV" and it shows while a channel plays.
Dial in the player
Under Settings, Player settings, opt for the built-in player on hardware decoding. Should a lone channel stutter while the rest are fine, switch just that channel to software decoding via the player menu, leaving the global setting be.
If it does not work first time
"Your account is expired"
What that flags is the subscription arriving at its end date, not any glitch in the app. Renew over WhatsApp and the identical credentials fire up again within minutes. No reinstall is called for, and not a setting is lost.
After sign-in the channel list is bare
Drag down to refresh, then log out and in again. If it stays empty, the server address has something wrong in it, and the usual suspect is the port number.
On Firestick the app keeps dying
Wipe its cache beneath Settings, Applications, Manage installed applications, and reopen it. Where it carries on, pull it off and put on a current build; a stale APK atop newer Fire OS is a frequent cause.

IPTV Smarters Pro IPTV FAQ
Does IPTV Smarters Pro cost anything?
On every platform the app is free, and it always has been. The snag that catches people is that it turns up bare: it ships with no channels at all and wants a subscription keyed in as an Xtream login before a thing appears. You are never billed a cent from inside the app.
What exactly is the IPTV Smarters Pro subscription?
As a product in its own right, it does not exist. Whoever searches that phrase is chasing a service that runs within the app, and that is exactly what you get here: an Xtream Codes account holding the whole channel line-up and on-demand library, keyed in once and then live on every device you own.
TiViMate or Smarters Pro, which wins?
Smarters is free, plainer, and runs the world over. TiViMate brings a far stronger guide, plus multi-view and recording, for something like $10 a year, and it exists on Android alone. If live sport is what you are here for, TiViMate soon earns its keep; short of that, Smarters more than does the job.
