Most likely causes
- No EPG (XMLTV) source is set in Hot Player, so there is nothing for the guide grid to display.
- The playlist was loaded as a plain channel list with no EPG URL attached, so the app never received guide data.
- The time zone in the app or on the TV is wrong, so the guide loads but every programme is shifted by a few hours or looks empty for the current slot.
- The EPG file is large and is still downloading, or the last download timed out on a slow connection.
- The provider portal or MAC line has not been re-activated, so the app is signed in for channels but the guide feed is not being served.
Fixes, in the order to try them
Open Hot Player and find the settings or EPG section. Check whether an EPG or XMLTV URL is listed. If the field is empty, that is the cause. Paste the EPG (XMLTV) link that came with your Nixaiptv details, save, and let the app reload.
If your playlist was added by M3U link, make sure you used the full URL that includes the EPG, or add the separate XMLTV URL in the EPG field. A bare channel list with no guide URL will always show an empty grid.
Set the time zone. In Hot Player look for a time zone or GMT offset option and match it to your own region; if the app has no such setting, correct the date, time and time zone on the Samsung TV itself under General then System Manager then Time. A guide that is one or more hours out often reads as blank for the current programme.
Force a guide refresh. Use the app option to reload or update the EPG, then wait one to three minutes without leaving the screen. Large XMLTV files can take a moment on Wi-Fi, and switching away mid-download can cancel it.
Reload the playlist. Remove the current playlist or profile in Hot Player and add it again from your Nixaiptv link so both the channels and the EPG URL are pulled fresh.
If Hot Player uses a device MAC and a provider portal, sign in at the Hot Player activation page with the MAC shown on the app screen and confirm the line is active, then restart the app so it requests the guide again.
If the grid is still empty, close Hot Player fully, unplug the TV for thirty seconds, power back on and open the app once more so it starts a clean guide download.

Hot Player EPG not showing (Samsung) FAQ
Why do my channels play but the guide is empty?
Live playback and the EPG are two separate feeds. Channels use the playlist; the guide needs its own EPG (XMLTV) URL. If only the guide is blank, the playlist is fine and the EPG source is missing, still downloading or on the wrong time zone.
Where do I get the EPG or XMLTV link for Hot Player?
It is issued with your Nixaiptv login details alongside the playlist link. If you only have the M3U link, message the support desk on WhatsApp and we will send the matching EPG URL so you can paste it into the app.
The guide is a few hours off rather than empty. What now?
That is a time-zone mismatch, not missing data. Set the correct GMT offset in Hot Player if it has the option, or correct the time zone on the Samsung TV under General, System Manager, Time. Reload the guide afterwards.
How long should the guide take to appear?
Usually under a minute, but a large multi-day XMLTV file on Wi-Fi can take two to three minutes on first load. Stay on the guide screen while it downloads rather than switching away, which can cancel the request.
