Most likely causes
- The feed uses AC3, EAC3 or Dolby audio that the Samsung TV speakers will not decode, so the video plays but the audio is silent.
- The TV sound output or digital audio setting is on a passthrough mode a connected soundbar or the panel cannot handle.
- The specific channel stream is muted or has a very low audio level at source.
- The 4K or UHD version of a channel carries an audio track the set skips, while the HD version carries a standard one.
- A temporary app glitch left the audio muted after switching channels quickly.
Fixes, in the order to try them
Rule out the obvious first. Check the TV is not muted and the volume is up, then open a different channel. If sound returns on other channels, the first stream is the issue and you can jump to the HD step; if every channel is silent, continue with the audio settings.
Switch the TV digital audio output to PCM. On the Samsung TV go to Settings, then Sound, then Expert Settings, and set Digital Output Audio Format to PCM. This forces the TV to decode the audio itself and is the single most common fix for Dolby or AC3 feeds that play silently.
Try the HD feed. Open the SD or HD version of the same channel rather than the 4K or UHD entry. If HD has sound and 4K does not, the 4K feed is carrying an audio format the set skips, which is a stream limitation rather than a fault.
Check any connected soundbar or receiver. If audio runs through a soundbar or AV receiver over HDMI ARC or optical, set that device and the TV to a matching format, or temporarily switch sound back to the TV speakers to confirm where the silence is introduced.
Look for an audio track option in Hot Player. Some players let you pick the audio track on a stream; if the channel offers more than one, switch to an alternate track in case the default is the one the TV cannot play.
Restart the app and the TV. Close Hot Player fully, power the TV off at the wall for thirty seconds, then reopen the app. This clears a temporary mute or a stuck audio state after fast channel changes.
If picture plays but audio stays silent on every channel even on PCM and on the HD feeds, note which channels and message the Nixaiptv desk on WhatsApp so we can check whether those feeds are affected.

Hot Player no sound (Samsung) FAQ
Why does the picture work but there is no sound?
Usually the audio track is in a format like Dolby, AC3 or EAC3 that the TV will not decode over its current output. Setting the digital audio output to PCM makes the TV decode it, which restores sound on most affected channels.
Where is the PCM setting on a Samsung TV?
Go to Settings, Sound, Expert Settings, and change Digital Output Audio Format to PCM. Menu wording varies a little by model and year, but it sits under the sound or expert sound options.
Only some channels are silent. Is that normal?
It can be. Channels that carry Dolby or a 4K audio track the set skips play silently while standard ones are fine. Open the HD version of a silent channel, and switch the output to PCM, and most will play.
Sound works on my other apps but not Hot Player. Why?
Other apps may re-encode audio to a format the TV handles, while Hot Player passes the original track through. The PCM output setting usually bridges that gap; trying the HD feed helps for the rest.
